This means that you have the right to look at a plan's formulary when deciding whether or not to enroll in that plan, and at any time after you have joined the plan. You can use Medicare's Formulary Finder tool to find plans in your state that cover the medications you need. However, even though a plan's formulary must be approved each year, plans can change their formularies more than one time each year.
